Rocket Ropes was established in 2011 and is NZ owned and operated. John Dowsett, also the founder of Butterfly Creek, its neighbouring attraction, set it up in 2003. Butterfly Creek provided a great opportunity to introduce a high ropes activity park right next door. Rocket Ropes consists of two activity towers, high ropes courses and a range of climbing and aerial activity opportunities.

Currently Rocket Ropes consists of the croc course, rocket course, long drop, ripper zipper and giant sky swing. Stage two is due to open in late 2014 which will consist of a lower course. Stage three is due to open 2015 which will consist of a toddlers course. Watch this space!

Rocket Ropes uses the German system - the Bornack. It is a clever system meaning one cannot be unattached at any one time. We pride ourselves on safety and we have a clean safety record.
